I just finished Lee Smith's On Agate Hill Fantastic: enthralling, haunting, couldn't put it down. Looks like movie potential to me A mix of Known World, that Beekeeper's Daughter book, Cold Mountain, and more. Highly recommend it.
I am in the middle of On Agate Hill and absolutely love it! I was thinking what a terrific movie it would make as well! Unfortunately, I have put it down somewhere, and can't find it! I am shoveling out the house right now--hopefully, it is in a pile somewhere!
